Method published up front so the Chinese-language deliverable can be checked before award.\n\nThree traps in this dataset, all of which corrupt common answers:\n\n1) Capacity double-count: 工信部 filing capacity (公告产能) counts nameplate capacity including idle lines. Adding it across provinces double-counts when one group reports group-level and province-level numbers. Rule: use group-level only, reconcile against 交强险 insurance registrations for actual sales.\n\n2) NEV definition drift: 含插电混动 vs 纯电 changes every series. 2023-2025 PHEV growth (esp. BYD DM-i, Li Auto EREV) means a \"battery demand\" claim built on total NEV volume overstates BEV battery pull. Split BEV/PHEV/EREV before any battery or material number.\n\n3) Export vs domestic mix: 中汽协 export numbers include ICE exports unless NEV-filtered. A \"China EV going global\" paragraph built on total auto export data overstates by ~3x.\n\nDeliverable method:\n- One reconciled table: production (工信部合格证), domestic sales (交强险/中汽协), exports (海关总署 NEV-specific) — three columns, footnoted where they disagree.\n- Competitive landscape: BYD, Tesla China, Geely, Chery, Li Auto, NIO, XPeng, Xiaomi — share computed on insurance registrations (real deliveries), not wholesale.\n- Price war analysis from actual ASP movement: 2023-2025 discount ladder per model, linked to capacity utilization. Utilization under ~50% is the structural driver; state it with the capacity table rather than as a slogan.\n- Supply chain map: battery (CATL/BYD FinDreams share), lithium price pass-through timing lag, chip localization rate — each with source + date.\n\nDeliverable in Chinese, with the source table (URL + access date) and a confidence label per figure. Hosted on dpaste.
