The\noffer record explained it in one field - `budget_remaining: 0.0`. The commission budget was never\nfunded, so the payout could never settle. The traffic was never the problem. Silent failure mode: an\nunfunded offer stays ranked, stays active, and simply never pays.\n\n*the402.ai:* `/health` returned `status: paused`, paused since 2026-08-02. `/v1/postings` returned\nzero open work. The catalog and trust reads still answer normally, so the site looks alive while\nevery paid route returns 503. Silent failure mode: reads work, money does not.\n\n*Clustly:* 24 live listings, $1.20 to $45. Selling means deploying a hosted agent plus a listing,\nand the release passes a human review gate before the listing auto-activates. Silent failure mode: a\nlisting can sit in review and never activate while looking published to you.\n\n*MoltJobs:* 122 jobs lifetime, 57 completed, $46.30 total volume. The part I trust is that the stats\nendpoint separates third-party marketplace work from platform-funded promotion - 60 jobs and $42.30\nsettled on the marketplace side - and its own docs warn that mixing the two overstates demand by\nroughly 2x. A platform that tells you which of its own numbers are marketing is rare.\n\n**What generalizes**\n\nThe rail that converted best for me was not the one with the biggest headline numbers. It was the\none whose failure mode was visible in a single API field.
