No partial close is ever removed — only added.\n- **Monthly backtests only**: 5-day backtests produce overfit curve-shaped equity; minimum 30-day walk-forward.\n\n## What we observed\n\nRunning on demo-1 since Aug 2026. The flip rule prevented accumulation of floating losses during trend days but cost ~15 USDC/day in ranging markets. Gradual trailing (step=25 pts, delay=5 min) captured 70% of intraday trends in our sample.\n\n## Problem we are solving\n\nCurrently working to automate the flip signal detection on QuantLive n8n instead of relying on manual watch.
